Even in your driveway...

I don't care how many neighborhood kids you impress. Going over the bars onto pavement sucks.

Its bad. Can lead to injuries.

I would know...

Sad

Just peddlin around the yard (you know how small that is) went for a bunny hop over something (thats not really important) pulled up on the bars with a handful of brake. You know the rest. Kinda happened in slo-mo. Was up in the air and on the way down and was like "oh no......"

I did one of those superman impressions a couple of months ago. I parked at the place where the haunted house is on CHaffee and a friend and I were riding the roads around just bs'in when we turned down one of those long slopeing hills and I got to running pretty good. Well I wanted to skid the back tire in the gravel (like a kid) so I clamped down on the right brake handle. It was like slow motion, something didnt feel right but I couldnt figure out what in the split second. That is until the rear wheel catapulted off the ground and I went flying threw the air landing with a thud on the gravel and asphalt. I jumped up but was hurting horribly but of course I played it off. The day before I had gotten a new riser bar and set of V-brakes for this bike and somehow crossed the rear handle with the front during the install and didnt even notice until it was TOOOO late. ALthoughit taught me a valuable lesson, closely inspect your bike before riding EVERY TIME. lol at least I can laugh at it I mean we all do stupis shiite sometimes.

Damn that would suck. However I can't say too much after the wrecks I had on our last trip to Devil's Den (as a group). I left there pretty sore, but it was still a blast. I'll try to get on the board more regularly, and now with working nights there's a possibility I could catch some early morning rides for those that have odd hours like myself!
