Is it worth it? Looking at an ebay auction that spaces you caliper out and swaps in a 8" rotor. 25% more radius seems like an obvious increase in braking power.

Anyone have any experience with this setup?

Unless your overheating your existing brakes seems like a waste of money to me. I know all my disc equiped bikes are more than capable of tossing me over the handlebars so I have PLENTY of breaking powAh.
